Arielle Marks, Transfiguration, Photopolymer etching.
Collection of the artist
Featuring etchings stemming from the artist’s interest in childhood memories as well as a theoretical perspective. The artist says, “By using various subversions of (childhood) imagery such as blurring the figure, hiding their features or bodies, and removing them from a realistic environment, I move between objectification of the child as a medium of cultural reproduction and revealing the child as an individual agent.”
