The Museum is please to present its annual Mid-Shore Student Art Exhibition. This annual celebration of the artistic talents of students from Talbot, Caroline, Dorchester, and Queen Anne’s counties highlights nearly 300 works from kindergarten through 12th grade plus, special education.
To allow for greater participation than in years past, the exhibition will first display the work from grades 9 through 12. This will be succeeded by grades K through 8th grade, plus special education.
Again, the Museum is proud to award cash prizes for the best work from each grade level. The high school awards will be presented on April 22nd. Awards for the students K – 8th grade will be presented on May 12th. As in past years, visitors can expect a variety of media including painting, drawings, sculpture, photography and printmaking. Presented by the Museum for more than 20 years, this is the largest and most prestigious exhibition of student art on the Eastern Shore.
